The Ascension is committed to supporting the work of the world-wide church through its Mission Partners in the UK and internationally. We are in partnership with 16 ministries and our 2017 missions budget stands at £3450 which is 10% of our annual tithable income. We occasionally top this up through specific fundraising and recognise also that individuals give direct to these and other causes. We do encourage generous support of all these causes and you may give through our donate button at the bottom of the page.

Principles identified

Our Mission giving supports Christian activities that are generally outside the scope of our normal church activity and is done by others. Our intention through each relationship is for mutually enriching partnerships to emerge. Through our missions giving we seek to support local, national and international ministries that engage in relief & development, scripture translation & teaching, evangelism and church growth.

Mission Partners

Our Mission Partners are people or organisations with whom we have a direct link or association, normally through a person. This may be because a member of the mission is a member of the Ascension, or has been sent out by the Ascension or is someone with whom we have a strong relationship. Our current Mission Partners are:

Brighton & Hove City Mission: personally supporting Beverley McArdle the Rest Homes Team Leader and collecting for the Food Bank.  www.bhcm.org.uk
Church Pastoral Aid Society
