People sometimes reject religion when they hear about it. I wonder this morning what type of religion it is that they are rejecting. Have they heard a gospel of forgiveness, and grace and love, or have they heard about religious rules, and moralism and law-keeping? Because religion can do one of two things: it can cripple, and bind, and and burden. Or it can set free, and release and enable a person to stand tall?
