Our All Age Carols this morning has set the scene for our Christmas at Ascension.
Next up, we are carol singing on Tuesday this week as a build up to our Carol Service next Sunday evening 19th Dec at 6.00pm and our Christmas Eve services at 4pm and 11.15pm.
In a change to the advertised plan, weather permitting, we aim to sing in the Brangwyns. We will meet at 7.00 (Tuesday 14Dec) in The Close by the triangle of grass on Brangwyn Drive (south end) and set off quite promptly to keep warm! We will sing in The Close, up Brangwyn Drive, down Brangwyn Crescent and down Brangwyn Avenue. None of these roads have yet received our Christmas card. If we have enough resources, a couple of people could break off and deliver to Brangwyn Way. Those who are then walking back to the Malcolm Young Room will leaflet/sing in the Homeleigh flats and The Deneway (access permitting). Others may choose to travel back by car.
If you can’t join us to sing, but are able to come for soup and a brief prayer for our Carol services 8.40-9.30 in the Malcolm Young Room we will see you then.
