Friendship LunchesOnce a month, we host a friendship lunch for the retired. It is a two course meal with tea/coffee for £4 on the fourth Thursday of the month. The meal starts at 1pm and lasts to about 2.15pm. Everyone is welcome. Our Christmas Special in November is a three course meal with wine and costs £5. It begins with a vision of Jesus like he’s never been seen before, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, the king of kings, the bright shining ‘ancient of days’ with a sword, the word of God, coming out of his mouth. He has a message of hope and patient endurance to encourage the church to trust in his sovereign control of world events during chaotic and climactic times. And he speaks to seven churches which also represent the church today. What does Jesus have to say to his church?
Our Service Of Remembrance starts at 10.30 with our Act Of Remembrance at 11.00 with David Bubloz playing the last post. Andy Bousfield will be preaching and the sermon theme will be “Be still and know that I am God” Explorers childrens’ club will take place as usual starting in church then heading down.
