It begins with a vision of Jesus like he’s never been seen before, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, the king of kings, the bright shining ‘ancient of days’ with a sword, the word of God, coming out of his mouth. He has a message of hope and patient endurance to encourage the church to trust in his sovereign control of world events during chaotic and climactic times.
